Measure and set the BPM by clicking the button several times in rhythm or tapping the 'T' key on the keyboard. It will reset if there is a gap of 2 seconds or more.

Downbeat Time (sec)

Specify the reference point in the video to synchronize the metronome timing with a specific first beat (downbeat). - Use negative adjustments to advance the sound and positive to delay it. - The first tap of the TAP button can also automatically set this reference point.

Device Delay Compensation

Compensates for audio lag during wireless connections (Bluetooth) or device-specific latency. Optimal values vary by hardware and environment. Adjust in Settings.

Loop Playback and Target Settings

Sets the current video playback time as the loop 'end point'.

Mimetronome Quick Guide

Step 1: Load a video via keyword search or pasting a YouTube URL. You can also resume recent videos from history.
Step 2: Set the BPM and Beats, and sync the downbeat (1st beat) with the video. Manual measurement via TAP is also available.
Step 3: Practice efficiently by adjusting playback speed or looping specific segments. You can also set a target loop count.
Step 4: Save and share your settings as a 'Song Preset'. Resume practice with one click next time or sync to other devices.
